It is helpful to have a brief sense of your situation ready: what the current custody order says (if one exists), what has been happening and for how long, and what you are hoping to accomplish. You do not need to have everything organized — that is part of what the consultation is for. But a brief overview helps Lynda understand what kind of help you need.
What to Expect
A consultation is a private, confidential conversation. Lynda will listen to your situation, ask clarifying questions, and give you an honest assessment of what the courts in Collin County are likely to consider, what legal options are available, and what a realistic path forward might look like.
She will not tell you what you want to hear if it is not accurate. She will not make promises about outcomes that no attorney can guarantee. What she will give you is a clear, thoughtful assessment and the beginning of a strategy built on the specific facts of your case.
